EATBRAIN / BAD TASTE / DIVISION
REPRESENTED BY JAMES SMITH
SIGNS are a DnB trio who have been forging an exquisite path through the DnB scene with a flurry of huge releases on well-respected labels in their relatively short existence. Having their roots in Toulouse, France, and having all separately made marks on the DnB scene, they emerged into a whole new realm of production after combining their talents. Already hugely respected in the French DnB circuit, they subsequently exploded onto the international scene with their very first releases on Red Light Records, & C4C Records, and kept the flow coming and their profile growing through 2015 with releases on Gridlok’s Project 51 label, and their debut appearance on RAM Recordings via Audio’s RAMlife compilation and their astonishing entrance to the Eatbrain label in the form of their ‘Naked Lunch’ EP.
These huge releases were followed up a release on Ed Rush’s own Piranha Pool imprint, with these tracks featured on his Fabriclive mix, as well as the astonishing ‘Less Is More’ track as part of the MethLab // 1 EP on Bad Taste Recordings and tracks on the massive Mirror Universe LP from Eatbrain.
2016 has been a busy year for the trio, they became part of Noisia’s mighty Division Recordings roster with their unique take on half-step /Future beat in the form of “DIESEL“ and “CLAP YAH“, also with the long awaited “UNCHAINED“ forthcoming on SHOGUN Audio 100 EP (premiered on Beats 1 by ZANE LOWE last summer), with their Remix of Pythius anthem “DRIVEYARD“ for BLACKOUT rec, and also collaborated with no other than Mr Phace himself, on the floor scorcher “ PAMPLEMOUSSE“ on NEODIGITAL.
DJ wise last year saw the trio touring around the globe and featuring on some of the biggest DnB festivals such as “LET IT ROLL“ (CZ), “OUTLOOK“ (HR) & INVADERZ (BE), as well as headlining on many EATBRAIN Nights all around Europe
Moving into 2017, watch out for a brand new half time EP on Vision, and DnB wise forthcoming collabs with Annix, Audio and Agressor Bunx. As well as very special live project in the pipeline. SIGNS is definitely a name to keep a close eye on – these guys are on the way to the top…
